The Wonderful World of Healing Plants - Holiday Edition

In this hands-on class, students will build an apothecary of herbs that are safe for children, easily prepared, and useful for common ailments. Each week we’ll explore the herb of the week, noting its family, energetics, taste, properties and uses. We’ll create herbal remedies or recipes each week. We’ll also plan an herbal kitchen garden. We’ll use Rosemary Gladstar’s book Herbal Medicine for Children as a guide. Families are encouraged but not required to purchase this book.

Our holiday edition will focus on herbs for winter wellness and each week we'll craft an herbal gift that children can give away.
